Third Winter…

…or so it feels.  It has been a tough winter in some ways but in other ways very mild.  I don’t recall any transit buses sliding down our hill this winter as they did last year, but it sure seemed to last forever and it’s still cold despite the fact that Easter weekend is upon us.

Sewing in Secret

I do love posting my quilting projects as they are unfolding.  Often I will post my fabric choices and perhaps the first of many blocks, and finally the layout and ending with the finished project.

There are times though when the recipient of one of my quilts is on my social media connections list and this makes the sharing of photos along the way restricted because I want the element of surprise when they receive the quilt.

2016 – Time to Take Stock second instalment

Yesterday I shared my ongoing hand quilting projects and my list of UFOs.  There are 17 in total and by some standards that’s excessive and by others a mere drop in the bucket!

I quilted it with an all over meander stitch on my Janome 6500 and B-Line quilting frame.

Blogging Hiatus but I’m back…

Here’s what I’ve been up to the last little while.  I guess I was just too busy sewing to actually blog about it.  Here are some photos:
